Wonderful images of the Siberian Lake Baikal by photographer Matthieu Paley.
Paley’s work was featured in Serko, a book (and film) telling the true story of equestrian Dmitri Peshkov and his horse, Serko. The duo rode 200 days and 9,000 kilometers from Blagoveshchensk, Siberia, to Saint Petersburg, Russia, 1889-1890.
Paley recounts his experience to Outside Magazine.
